This full day symposium will be the first of its kind associated with the TAA’s National Education Conference and is the only open national meeting focused exclusively on innovative research related to Tourette and Tic Disorders. In this event for and by scientists, sessions will include talks on understanding the genetic and neurobiological basis of Tourette Syndrome, assessing the impact of Tourette Syndrome, and developing clinical interventions. This meeting will bring together diverse, inter-disciplinary researchers to exchange ideas and stimulate new research directions for Tourette Syndrome and Tic Disorders.
Note: While National Conference includes programming for children as young as 8, there is no children’s programming during the Research Symposium. Parents interested in attending both Conference and the Symposium should contact the hotel for onsite childcare options.
