The biennial Tourette Association of America (TAA) National Conference is an informative, welcoming event for the Tourette Syndrome community.  It is an opportunity to learn about the complexities of this misunderstood disorder and connect with community of people with TS, their parents and loved ones, as well as the medical professionals, educators, and researchers who specialize in TS and its comorbid conditions.

Every two years we assemble the leading experts and most inspiring figures in the Tourette community to help all attendees build better lives with TS.  Whether you or your child is newly diagnosed, or if you have been managing your tics for years, there is something new to learn and new connections to make.

SCHEDULE

This year, to allow more families to attend, the National Conference has a new schedule!
It will begin with an opening party on Friday night, May 14.  Conference sessions will start first thing Saturday morning and continue through Sunday afternoon.

As in previous years, there will be five tracks for attendees, including specific programming for adults with TS, teens with TS, parents, medical professionals, and now children 8-12.

REGISTRATION

Your registration fee includes admission to any and all Conference sessions on Saturday and Sunday, as well as admission to the welcome party Friday night.  We are proud to announce new lower registration fees, and a new child rate, to make it easier for families to attend.  Check out the Registration Page for more information!

 

FOOD

Breakfast is included both days, as are all refreshment at the party Friday May 14.  A long lunch break has been added on Saturday to allow attendees to enjoy the numerous local restaurants nearby.

 

RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM

The Research Symposium will take place on Friday May 14, the day before the National Conference. This will be a day-long event — for researchers, by researchers —with the intention of updating scientists and students about the latest research in the field of TS and related tic disorders.  You can find more information here
