CATS

CATS' Sprinter Enhanced Bus Service links the airport with uptown Charlotte Transportation Center, the route is known as Route 5-Airport. Departs from Zone D, Baggage Claim and it operates every 20 minutes, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. approx. (after 7 p.m. service is offered every 30 minutes and it stops at 12 a.m.). Weekend service is offered less often. Check the schedule at the airport.
 
 

Taxis and Ride-Share Services

Taxis and shuttles are easily found outside the Baggage Claim Areas. Passengers can request previously a prearranged service or there are also four taxicab companies available in CLT airport: City Cab, Crown Cab, Green Cab and Yellow Cab. To go and come from the airport there are different rates depending on the destination and travel time.  Uber and Lyft are also available and service may be booked via their mobile apps.  Cost for Uber/Lyft is approximately $12-$30 each way depending on the type of service you select and the time of day.
 
 

Shuttles

Pre-arranged shuttle service is available between the Airport and Hilton Charlotte Center City. Cost is approximately $28-$35 one way; $56-$70 round trip. More information and phone numbers are available on the Charlotte-Douglas Airport website. 
 
 

Car Rental

All of the major car rental services are available at the airport, in the Car Rental Facility (Level 2 lobby of the Hourly Parking Deck), with the exception of Thrifty, this car rental company provides shuttle service to passengers to its location.
