Trevor Storrs
President & CEO
Alaska Children's Trust
Bio:
For over 20 years, Trevor Storrs has dedicated his life to strengthening Alaska’s communities, with a deep commitment to the well-being of children and families. As President & CEO of the Alaska Children’s Trust (ACT) since 2012, Trevor has led statewide efforts to prevent child abuse and neglect—placing children and their families at the heart of every initiative. Under his leadership, ACT has evolved into a leading voice for change, supporting policies, partnerships, and programs that help families thrive and children grow up safe, supported, and resilient. Trevor’s passion for supporting vulnerable populations is long-standing. Before joining ACT, he served nearly a decade as Executive Director of Alaska’s statewide HIV/AIDS organization, where he championed access to care and helped launch the Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness—bringing visibility and solutions to families and individuals often left behind. Outside of his professional work, Trevor is a dedicated advocate for equity and inclusion, lending his voice and leadership to grassroots movements, particularly those advancing LGBTQ rights. He has also contributed his expertise to numerous local and national boards, always bringing a lens of family and community well-being to the table. At the core of Trevor’s work is a simple belief: strong families build strong communities—and every child deserves a safe, healthy start in life.
