With the rapid rise of accessible paddle craft and a surge in first-time boaters, many visitors and users are hitting the water without a fundamental understanding of state laws or boating and navigational safety. This session will assist Rangers and Natural Resource Managers with strategies and ideas for proactive engagement—moving beyond reactive enforcement to a model of preventative education.
