Bill has a broad background in public land planning, trail planning, and natural resource studies throughout Colorado and the intermountain West. He has a strong interdisciplinary background that balances biological sciences, trail and recreation management, resource stewardship, and stakeholder involvement. He specializes in planning that balances natural resource protection with trail and outdoor recreation opportunities. These technical and professional skills have enabled Bill to effectively coordinate and manage diverse project teams and develop creative and strategic solutions to natural resource problems. In addition to several planning projects for state parks and open space departments, Bill is managing the Outside 285 Regional Partnership and is currently assisting with the launch of the Spanish Peaks Outdoor Coalition.
