Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 9:45 AM - 11:00 AM
Join a panel of Regional Partnerships Initiative (RPI) members from across the state as they delve into their successes and future goals in regional conservation and recreation planning endeavors. By fostering collaboration between communities, wildlife interests, outdoor recreation, and working lands, panelists will share their experiences and future aspirations. Gain insight into how community-driven coalition efforts have propelled RPI successes and assisted in overcoming barriers. Topics intersect wildlife and natural resource conservation, agriculture and ranching, outdoor recreation development, community collaboration, and effective coalition building. Audience participation is encouraged through interactive Q&A, allowing attendees to glean practical insights and apply panelists’ experiences to their own communities. This session is part 1 of a 2-part series on the Regional Partnerships Initiative. Part 2 is an interactive session titled “6C: Peer Learning and Crowdsourcing Solutions for Community Engagement with the CPW Regional Partnerships Initiative (Part 2 of 2)” which focuses on shared learning around best practices for community engagement in the context of partnerships. The panel in session 1 will discuss community engagement in their partnerships, providing insights that can spark discussions in session 2. Attending both sessions is not required. Attendees will learn and interact with Regional Partnerships Initiative topics in both sessions.
