10:30 AM Reduce your Cloud Risk with Smart Design Patterns - Shelley Rosell, Cloud Security Architect, Solventum
Misconfigurations remain the leading cause of cloud security incidents. As more workloads transition to the cloud, and as cloud platform services change and expand at a rapid pace, ongoing complexity contributes to this issue. However, there are architecture patterns and choices that can go far to help reduce this risk.
Learner Objectives: After this session, learners will understand practical ways to design cloud operations and infrastructure to help reduce this threat and improve security posture of their cloud environments. Examples will focus on AWS but can be applied to Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform as well.
