Bio:

Roxanne Munroe brings over 20 years of experience in maternal and child health programming, with extensive leadership in implementing and managing evidence-based home visiting models such as Healthy Families New York (HFNY). As Program Director at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center since 2007, she has scaled services from inception to a multi-million-dollar initiative supporting hundreds of families. Ms. Munroe has demonstrated expertise in program development, reflective supervision, performance quality assurance, and interdepartmental coordination. She has served on numerous advisory and leadership groups and is recognized for her contributions to racial equity in infant mental health and maternal health disparities. Ms. Munroe holds Master’s Degrees from SUNY Binghamton and Hunter College and is a Licensed Master Social Worker as well as an Infant Mental Health endorsed Infant Family Specialist, Reflective Supervision Consultant and Infant and Early Childhood Infant Mental Health Basics Trainer. Ms. Munroe is also pursuing her Doctorate in Social Welfare at the University at Buffalo. Her work continues to center community collaboration, innovation, and culturally responsive care for vulnerable families.
