Adrian Amezcua is a Research Assistant at the University of Oregon’s Center for Childhood Safety and Wellbeing (CSAW), specializing in violence prevention with a focus on child abuse prevention. With two years of experience, he collaborates with community partners to strengthen support networks for children and families. Currently pursuing a master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling, Adrian has contributed to notable projects across Lane County—such as the PEACE Report—and statewide efforts like the OCAPS Study, both conducted through CSAW. His work emphasizes amplifying youth voices in discussions on violence prevention and childhood maltreatment, ensuring their perspectives shape meaningful solutions.
