Bio:
Stormie Drake (she/her) is a Refugee Systems of Care Specialist at the Center for Quality Family Support (CQFS) at MPHI. With over 16 years of experience in education and nonprofits, Stormie’s roles have included Program Director, overseeing educational initiatives, and Parent Educator/Home Visitor. She also served as Executive Director of a nonprofit organization focused on English as a Second Language (ESL) education. Stormie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education & English Language Arts from Eastern Michigan University and a Master’s degree in Administration in Nonprofit Organizations from Central Michigan University. Recognized as a top finalist for the Brilliance Emerging Leader award from West Michigan Woman in 2023, Stormie is passionate about supporting refugee and newcomer families.
