Bio:

My name is Kelly Foster and I am a Training and Technical Assistance Specialist for Healthy Families America. I live in southern Arizona. Prior to my work with Healthy Families, I had spent several years prior to that working in human services in a variety of capacities. At one point I was an intern for then-Arizona Attorney General Janet Napolotano as a Victim Advocate. I dipped my toes in the mental health field, and finally landed in children and family services. I worked in intervention, primarily with families who were already deeply involved with the Department of Child Safety. Once I started working in Healthy Families and saw the benefits of “working upstream” in prevention, there was no going back. Prevention and strength-based, relationship-focused work is where it’s at…and it works! I have held just about every position you can imagine as a Healthy Families staff member since I started in 2010! I started as a Family Resource Specialist, and over time became a Family Support Specialist, a Program Supervisor and most recently, a Program Manager.
