Yolanda Bronner-Wooten is a distinguished two-time graduate of Jackson State University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. She holds certifications from the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers (CHSP) and the National Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST). As an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Yolanda is committed to making a positive impact in her community. After completing her education, Yolanda confidently took on the role of school director in Southaven, Mississippi, where she thrived for six and a half years. Raised in the rural town of Shelby, Mississippi, Yolanda has always been passionate about helping others, especially children. Her experiences growing up in low-income areas opened her eyes to the challenges her friends and family faced, fueling her determination to study Social Work and make a difference in her community. In December 2014, Yolanda embraced the opportunity to advance her career with an organization she respects, Canopy Children's Solutions. As the LINK Director, she leads initiatives to support and empower children and their families. Yolanda proudly resides in Pearl, Mississippi, with her husband and daughter. With over 20 years of unwavering dedication to serving others, she excels in coordinating vital services for children and adolescents, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed.
