11:00 AM - 11:45 AM

In this session, participants will explore strategies for navigating families to success through the lens of hope by building stability, strengthening partnerships, enhancing skills, and growing the ecosystem of support. We will focus on how using the science of hope can significantly enhance resilience and motivation, enabling families to overcome obstacles and pursue their goals. Hope is the combination of having clear goals, the motivation to achieve them, and the pathways to make those goals a reality. LINK focuses on expanding community partnerships, creating a broad network of resources that families can access to ensure lasting success. This ecosystem approach offers a robust safety net, uniting professionals, lived experience, and external community organizations to offer comprehensive, holistic support tailored to the family’s identified needs. By integrating the principles of hope into our work, families are empowered to envision and strive toward a brighter future, building the necessary skills and connections to achieve lasting positive change. We’ll dive into strategies for breaking down barriers that often hinder families from receiving the support they need. Key topics include: Language Access: Providing services in multiple languages, including Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL), to ensure all families are reached. CPST (Child Passenger Safety Technicians): Providing expert guidance on correctly installing car seats and ensuring children are securely fastened, promoting safety during travel. Parenting Classes: Utilizing Active Parenting curriculum to provide valuable knowledge, practical strategies, and emotional support to help parents navigate challenges and raise healthy, resilient children. Financial Literacy: Empowering families to build financial independence and stability through accessible education and resources. Digital Literacy Skills: Exploring tools like Beam, which help bridge the digital divide by equipping families with the skills needed to access online resources. Community Response: Providing immediate support, building trust, and helping individuals and families recover physically, emotionally, and mentally after a crisis. Community Prevention: Providing essential skills and knowledge to address and reduce the risks of child abuse, suicide, teen pregnancy, and substance use through awareness, early intervention, and collaborative support. Attendees will see evidence of the effectiveness of LINK in transforming families’ lives; success stories will highlight the impact of our ecosystem, showcasing how LINK has helped families overcome challenges and thrive.
