Bio:

I joined Healthy Families Virginia in 2023 after serving as a Program Manager in Maryland. Before that, I spent fifteen years working as a writer and adult educator in early childhood education with a focus on social-emotional development and supporting children who have experienced stress or trauma. I also worked for over a decade assisting military families at locations ranging from Germany to Alaska, parallel to my spouse's career in the Air Force. We have now settled outside of Washington, DC, where I live with my family and our two wildly indulged rescue dogs, Lily and Edna Mode.
