Using the metaphor of a tandem bicycle, participants will begin to visualize how home visiting roles are both influenced by the current conditions of the family and can be powerful tools to support families in reaching their goals. Participants will consider what it means to meet families where they are while holding their goals and dreams in mind. The presenters will offer examples from HFA activities like ongoing CHEERS and goal planning to further illuminate what partnership looks like and explore what can get in the way of partnership.
