In the pursuit of building stronger healthier families, the role of evidence-based programs like Healthy Families America is undeniable. And in order to maximize impact it is essential to center community and data in the co-creation and implementation process of strong accessibility and delivery of services. This session will explore the integration of the landscape of one’s community as well as data driven insights that can enhance the effectiveness of home visiting programs. In order to meet the needs of diverse families, we explore how the Healthy Families model can offer a structure that ensures cultural responsiveness, accessibility and sensitivity to local needs. This session will examine the multiple layers of the Healthy Families America structure within an urban county in Oregon and how these same strategies can be applied universally across geographic, funding, and culturally diverse environments within the foundation that this model provides.
