Emily Berry has held several roles within the Healthy Families America model over the past 15 years. Initially she was a supervisor to a team of 5 Family Support Specialists offering home visits to teen and young parents. During this time, she became both an HFA Peer Reviewer and HFA Accreditation Panel Member. Emily offered quality assurance and technical assistance to Healthy Families Oregon multisite system and is currently providing program management supports to Healthy Families Multnomah County. Emily grew up in a small former mill town 40 minutes outside of Portland. She earned her undergraduate degree in studio art and graduate degree in counseling psychology. Emily seizes the creativity and opportunity within this home visiting model to strengthen family and community connections, both acknowledging our histories and looking ahead to our future.
