Parent Leaders play a vital role in shaping policies and systems that prioritize families. This session will feature two Parent Leaders from ZERO TO THREE’s Safe Babies program who have led and co-designed initiatives that drive meaningful change. The session will highlight a parent-led project focused on advancing a prevention lens for perinatal substance use. Through listening sessions, these Parent Leaders gathered critical insights to inform actionable recommendations. Attendees will learn about their approach to designing, conducting, and synthesizing this work into strategies for systems change. This interactive discussion will offer practical insights on integrating Parent Leaders into policy and system transformation. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, explore new approaches, and consider strategies for fostering meaningful collaboration to shift mindsets and strengthen support for families.
