Almir has over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and technology leadership. Almir has a diverse background in several engineering disciplines and has held senior leadership roles in firms including Unisys (where he is the BISO at the Enterprise Computing Systems business unit), TCS, Fleetcor Technologies, ING US, HPE, and HP Co.
Almir earned an MBA in Global Business from Georgia State University, a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University-SP in Brazil, and a Bachelor’s in Information Technology from Instituto Federal-SP. He is also a Platinum member of ISACA, where he is certified in Information Security Management (CISM), Information Security Auditing (CISA), and Data Privacy (CDPSE).
In addition to English, Almir speaks Spanish and Portuguese, which has helped him while conducting business in 30+ countries. Almir resides in Atlanta, Georgia, USA and in his free time, enjoys carpentry, international travel, and playing the real football (a.k.a. soccer).
