Bevin Carithers is the Chief Park Ranger for Boulder County Parks & Open Space and an adjunct instructor in the Park Ranger Technology program at Red Rocks Community College. Bevin began his career as a seasonal park ranger in 1995 and has worked diligently to promote the values, duties, and traditions associated with parks rangers around the world. Bevin earned his Masters of Arts degree in Conservation Education from Miami University in 2015. As part of his capstone project, Bevin founded a small nonprofit, Mount Kenya Conservation Partners, that provides environmental education and ranger support in communities surrounding Mount Kenya. Bevin is passionate about hiring a diverse and representative staff who bring a passion for rangering and community and visitor engagement to the workplace.
