Lucero Torres is a Senior Park Ranger for Boulder County Parks & Open Space. Lucero began her career in 2010 as a seasonal Youth Corp member with the US Forest Service and has since earned over a decade of experience in various ranger roles across federal, city, state, and county levels. Throughout her career, Lucero has been instrumental in hiring and training initiatives, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to her roles. In her role as a Senior Ranger, Lucero, is a Taser Instructor, hiring manager, field trainer, and serves as the Vice-Chair on the board of the Rocky Mountain Ranger Association. Lucero is passionate about hiring a diverse staff that brings a balance of experience, skills, and engagement to the ranger team as well as to the communities they serve.
