Alli Howe, MPH, believes in the power of outdoor public spaces and recreation. She has served in appointed and elected positions that support recreation for over ten years. She is familiar with trails master plans, acquiring land, and finding creative partnerships to get the work done. She has worked on municipal, county, and state level policy to bring more recreation to more people. In her new role as the Chief Health Strategist at Mesa County Public Health, she is working to find more ways to improve physical and mental health through access to outdoor spaces.
