Park Ranger Joe Brand has been privileged to work as a Ranger for a variety of agencies over the past 30 years, including Larimer County, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and Rocky Mountain National Park. As an Eagle Scout Joe aspired to work in the outdoors, and started his endeavor with a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology. Joe has gained experiences through a variety of state and national academies, and has worked as a Park Ranger, Deputy, and Police Officer. Ranger Brand has also had opportunities to serve as an Emergency Medical Technician, Wildland Firefighter, and Search and Rescue team member. Ranger Joe currently is honored to be assigned to the Big Thompson District in Estes Park, working for the Larimer County Department of Natural Resources.
