6E: Use of Community-Wide Partnerships and Technology to Address Challenges of Persons Experiencing Homelessness
Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 11:15 AM - 12:30 PM
The City of Fort Collins Natural Areas Department has forged partnerships across city departments, outside cooperators, and service providers for the purpose of information sharing and coordination to help navigate the growing challenges between community members that are experiencing homelessness and members that are housed. These partnerships are the basis for an ongoing, multi-pronged approach utilizing weekly meetings and GIS to balance enforcement needs with resource connection for persons experiencing homelessness across the city. This session is to help share our approach and to open up conversations about how this may be adapted to other areas, where it can be improved, and ongoing challenges.
