About the Conference

Since its start in 2001, the SF ISACA Fall Conference continues to be the premier education event for information technology audit, security, governance, risk and compliance professionals in Northern California. Last year’s event drew hundreds of attendees and we are expecting that number to grow this year.

Priced at roughly 1/3 of what many similar conferences charge, the SF ISACA Fall Conference represents Northern California’s best educational value for IT audit, security, risk, and compliance professionals.

The SF ISACA Fall conference features five tracks packed with top flight speakers and cutting edge topics:

- Core Competencies
Basic IT audit, security, risk, and compliance skills and concepts designed for professionals in the early part of their career. This track is also ideal for financial/operational professionals that want to expand their knowledge in this area.

- Governance, Risk, and Compliance
The latest information regarding regulatory frameworks and related developments and trends impacting IT audit, security, risk, and compliance professionals intended for professionals at all skill levels.

- Professional Techniques
Technical skills and tools for IT auditors, security and risk experts, and compliance managers with intermediate to advanced skill levels to enhance your work, knowledge, and to maximize your ability to add value to your organization.

- Professional Strategies
Focuses on strategies and skills that make IT audit, security, risk, and compliance professionals at all levels more successful by providing best practices, discussion of emerging issues or challenges and trends within our fields.

- Cybersecurity Essentials
The Cybersecurity Essentials track will explore technologies and processes designed to protect computers, networks and data from unauthorized access, vulnerabilities and attacks.

The 2018 SF ISACA Fall Conference also features a Monday evening Sponsor's Reception (immediately following the sessions) and the Tuesday Sponsor Luncheon. These two events offer our attendees expanded opportunity to mingle with their peers and build their network, to learn more about products and services relevant to their profession, and win prizes (including the SF ISACA Chapter’s $1,000 grand prize).
