Volunteer Interest

I want to volunteer at this year's RMISC

Thank you for volunteering for this year's RMISC! In exchange for your time, we would like to offer you a discount based on the shift hours.

This year we are offering 3 levels of commitment and discount. Please see below for descriptions and make your preferred selection.

Goon Squad – This room monitor position will require 1-Full Day commitment to a room/track. In this role you will be checking attendee badges at entrance, scanning attendees in and out, introducing speakers, and giving time warnings toward the end of the session. Preference to a track of your choosing will be considered but not guaranteed. You will also receive an on-line pre-conference training for this role. This will get you a FREE full conference registration.
4-Hour Volunteer Shift - Volunteers in this role will be assisting for 4 hours over 1 or 2 days, based on need and availability. They will be helping with registration/badge pickup, directional, or swag distribution. This will get you a discount of 50% off your registration.
2-Hour Volunteer Shift – Volunteers in this role will be assisting for 2 hours on a day of their availability, helping with registration/badge pickup, directional, or swag distribution. This will get you a discount of 25% off your registration.

Your volunteer assignment date/time will be emailed to you in May.

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Attendance Policy – Effective 2026

Beginning in 2026, RMISC will implement a badge scanning process for all CPE-eligible breakout sessions to ensure the integrity and accuracy of CPE reporting.

Attendees wishing to receive CPE credit must scan in at the start of each session using the official conference badge scanning system. Credit will be calculated according to scan data.

Failure to scan into a session will result in no CPE credit for that session. No exceptions will be made for missed scans.

Attendees are responsible for ensuring their badge is scanned properly for each session for which they wish to receive credit.

CPE Process

I have read and understand the updated CPE process. I acknowledge that CPE credit now requires scanning into sessions, and failure to scan will result in no CPE credit for that session.

Cancellation Policy:

Registration fees are non-refundable however substitutions may be submitted at no additional cost.

Membership Policy:

All member registration rates are subject to membership verification. Membership status will be verified prior to badge pickup. If a registrant is not current on their membership at the time of verification, their registration rate will be adjusted to the applicable non-member rate. Any resulting balance must be paid in full before a conference badge will be issued. Badges will not be released until all outstanding balances are resolved. Attendees are responsible for ensuring their membership is active at the time of registration and remains active through the conference dates.
