Sheri Ricardo is the Chief Information Security Officer for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado, where her team supports research that saves the planet. Sheri started her career at IBM, and prior to arriving at NREL in 2019, she developed the cybersecurity program for Denver’s public transportation agency. While Sheri holds several cybersecurity certifications, she has a diverse career and educational history that includes the liberal arts, higher education, and natural resources that contribute to her people-centric security management philosophy.
