Sloane counsels clients on privacy, data security, and risk management issues in both daily operations and critical business transactions. She works with clients in a variety of industries to proactively develop policies and procedures that comply with domestic and international privacy and cybersecurity laws. She holds a CIPP/E certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Sloane also assists in structuring and addressing the privacy and data security aspects of mergers and acquisitions and other technology-focused corporate transactions including licensing and service agreements.
