If your company is integrating artificial intelligence into your products, uses vendors with AI integrations, or plans to build an AI powered tool - this talk is for you. ISO 42001 is the world's first AI certification and presents a set of principles to think about AI risk. In this session we will cover ISO 42001, real world examples, and the principles of AI risk management within. (Be sure to join us in part 2 on Thursday!)
Learner Objectives
After this session, the learner will: 1. Understand the structure of ISO 42001 including key principles of AI Risk management 2. Have a solid foundation if they want to implement ISO 420001 or obtain certification 3. Be able to take "theory" and turn it into practical implementation at their company 4. Understand the role of security and privacy when it comes to AI risks.
• After this session, learner will understand the intent and main use cases of ISO 42001 • After this session, learner will understand the structure and contents of ISO 42001 • After this session, learner will understand how ISO 42001 relates to existing ISO standards related to security (ISO 27001), privacy (ISO 27701), and quality (ISO 9001) • After this session, learner will understand the process and timeline for getting ISO 42001 certified • After this session, learner will understand the roles relevant to the AIMS (AI providers, AI customers, AI partners, AI subjects, relevant authorities), and which roles apply to the context of their organization.
