The Rocky Mountain Information Security Conference Organizing Committee is proud to announce the Call for Presentations for the Rocky Mountain Information Security Conference June 11th - 13th, co-hosted by the ISSA Denver and ISACA Denver Chapters. 

Call for Speakers is now closed.

Submissions are being reviewed. Watch your email February 16 for acceptances. 

RMISC is looking for presentations covering a variety of current and future Information Technology Security, IT Auditing, IT Governance, Risk and Compliance, AI, Management and Legal Issues and Emerging Trends topics.

Presentations should be geared toward one of the following tracks:  AppSec, Architecture / How To, Audit, Risk & Compliance, Emerging Trends, Privacy, Security Management, Soft Skills, Threat Intel, Vendor Track

Presentations should be in-depth and focused on a specific issue or technology. Please try to stay away from overviews or summaries. Sessions will be 45 in total length, including Q&A.

Hands-on demos and case studies with actionable outcomes are encouraged. Participants want to take-away skills and information that they can use.

Updates for 2024: The first day of the conference, Tuesday, June 11th, will be included as a conference day. The afternoon will consist of extended 3-hour workshops along with 1-hour sessions. During your submission, you may submit to present for a 3-Hour Workshop, 1 hour breakout session or your submission can be considered for either slot. If this option is selected, the Content Committee will evaluate the submission and availability and designate the session type that will fit best. Please plan the content of your presentations accordingly.

Each submitter will be limited to a maximum of 2 submissions.

For a partial list of security and auditing subjects, click here; however, do not feel obligated to choose a topic from this list in which to categorize your paper.

If your presentation is selected for inclusion in the conference, you will be informed in late March. Those selected to present will receive a complimentary registration for the conference. 

Are you vendor looking to inform attendees about a product or a service? This is not the place for your submission. Speaking opportunities are available during the conference as part of an overall Sponsorship package, please view the available packages at https://rmisc.org/sponsor-info. Under no circumstances will a presentation geared towards a single commercial product or company be accepted via the call for presentation process.
