Tim has been in the governance, risk and compliance industry for 18 years, as a manager, director and CISO of start-ups to multi-national corporations within the public and private sectors. He has published articles on security and privacy for ISACA and ICMA and presented at ISSA International, CGAIT, and secureCISO conferences. His focus these days is on third-party contracts/management and regulatory governance and is a member of Shared Assessments workgroups helping to build better engagement models. He is the Chief Information Security Officer for the City of Aurora and spends his spare time as an adjunct instructor at the Community College of Aurora.
