Max Blumenthal is a senior member of the technical staff working as a Cyber Assurance Architect at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Max leads, designs, and analyzes Sandia’s phishing exercises. He also works to implement Sandia’s continuous monitoring program and develop quantitative risk analysis for Sandia’s cyber assurance program. Previously, he has worked for SEICERT, developing tools to analyze the risk in Cyber Supply Chains and with
DHS to predict and prevent phishing attacks. Max earned his MS in Information Security Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and his BA in International Studies from American University. He also holds CISSP and GMON certifications.
