Session Description:

In the wake of the Equifax breach, state and federal lawmakers have proposed numerous privacy and cybersecurity laws. If enacted, these laws will significantly impact how entities protect, transfer, secure, and dispose of documents containing confidential information and what they must do if they suffer a security breach. We will review these proposed laws and provide attendees with the information they need to understand how the rapidly changing legal requirements may impact their jobs and the business of their employers and clients.
