Description
Session Description:

Let's be honest, building a business aligned security program is hard. Like insurance, Security is an investment that is often times a negative cost to project timelines and budgets, however we know it is a necessity. In K-12 this could not be truer. An industry with limited technical controls, limited federal, state regulations on Cyber Security, we approach building a Security Program on a budget, with limited resources and limited regulatory "sticks" to drive home your effort. We live by the motto of security through perseverance and persuasion and will share our path forward as we develop it for the future. Keywords: NIST CSF, ISAC, Community, Mentorship, Education, Public Sector, K12, Higher-ED
