Session Description:
 
In this session members of the Beeline security, development and devops pipeline architect will talk about setting up a fully automated pipeline that includes security. This process which took a year and a half started with the developers breaking every security tool in the environment. The team will talk about the process for defining the parameters for security in the automated pipeline, vetting vendors, wrangle containers and passing audits. The team will present real life examples and patterns that can be used at any company to start securing the automated pipeline.

- be equipped with the knowledge needed to assess their own devops environment for automating security in the pipeline
- understand how to support containers in a modern enterprise
- know how to start the conversation with the development team
- understand how to make sure you are not missing critical pieces for audit oversight
 
 
Speaker Bio(s)
Julie Chickillo is the VP of Information Security at Beeline. She is an information security, risk and compliance professional with over 15 years' experience in Information Security Governance, Data Privacy, Risk and Compliance, and legal. Proven presentation, leadership and communication skills. Currently working at Beeline Julie has spent the last 2 years working with the development and architect team to create a secure automated pipeline. 
 
Ben Finke has over 15 years of experience in enterprise scale security programs. Ben has spent his career in multiple leadership roles in information security, including running a security practice for a managed services provider. In this role, Ben provided security consulting and day-to-day network defensive operations for a dozens of organizations, from Fortune 500 companies to Software-as-a-Service providers to US Government organizations.
 
Brandon is a technology focused development leader with a strong history in software engineering. Demonstrated ability to leverage Agile techniques ranging from XP to Kanban to deliver high demand and high quality software artifacts. Enthusiastic and progressive leadership skills that have led to extremely low turnover and highly performing team environments focused on quality and creative thinking. Repeatedly chosen to perform research and create innovative new product modules or lines.
