zvelo CEO Jeff Finn will explore the many IoT vulnerabilities in the smart home and industrial markets and how the industry lacks incentives for manufacturers to make devices more secure. Reviewing the potential cost to users, both individual and corporate, Jeff will offer his thoughts on how the future requires better security design, how websites and hosting services can become powerful advocates for better practices, and how the IoT industry can create better incentives for everyone to take seriously the security (or lack of) of IoT devices.

- Understand the current vulnerabilities in IoT and the threat faced by today's businesses
- Understand the existing hurdles preventing a secure IoT
- Learn about potential legislation and best practices that should be put in place to secure the IoT
