                                    Session Description:
zvelo CEO Jeff Finn will explore the many IoT vulnerabilities in the smart home and industrial markets and how the industry lacks incentives for manufacturers to make devices more secure. Reviewing the potential cost to users, both individual and corporate, Jeff will offer his thoughts on how the future requires better security design, how websites and hosting services can become powerful advocates for better practices, and how the IoT industry can create better incentives for everyone to take seriously the security (or lack of) of IoT devices.

                                    Jeff Finn is CEO of zvelo, a Denver-based provider of web categorization and IoT device discovery, profiling and detection. Finn also served as SVP at Evolving Systems, Inc., and founded Prairie Systems, where he designed and launched a number of telecom software products and services. He resides in Denver, where zvelo has its North American headquarters.
