Description
Session Description:

It is easy to get focused on current threats as we play “whack-a-mole” against the bad guys. It is easy to get consumed with the next product line. But if we stay focused on the near-term, then the complex long-term future will kick us in the teeth. A glimpse of our digital future includes diverse actors operating on a widening attack plain with effects ranging from data disruption to death and destruction. How do we craft meaningful narratives that can advise our community? How do we combat the weaponization of data and future technology? Where do we even start?

Learner Objectives
After completing this session, learner will:
- Access unpublished results from threatcasting analysis and its implication on the audience’s organization enabling you to think about what is going to happen in your future and what you can do about it today
- Have a new superpower (Threatcasting) as they will have the ability to perform threatcasting in their home organizations
- Have an invitation to participate in future threatcasting events, join the Threatcasting Lab, contribute ideas/threats/subjects for future exploration, access research, and help influence where we go next
