A disparity continues in what grabs media headlines, vendor product focus, and organizational budget, as compared to the tactics continuing to be used to pillage organizational networks in real-world attacks. Don't worry! This isn't another security presentation with quotes from Sun Tzu's Art of War. Instead, we'll analyze current media trends, and contrast those trends with real-world attacker methodologies. Follow along as we dive into the mind of a hacker, perform live demonstrations of cutting-edge research and malware techniques, and provide defensive mitigations against the attacks that really matter.
