Description
During this presentation, we will provide an introduction to Cryptomining. We will then inform the audience about the latest attack trends including attack vectors and recent attacks based our review from various sources. We will provide our audience with a hands-on demo on how to mine Cryptocurrency. We will wrap up by sharing mitigating and detective controls to prevent the end users from becoming a victim to such attacks.

He has more than thirteen years of experience performing deep technical audits of technology infrastructure with emphasis on security and system availability risks. Karan has also spent several years at Deloitte & Touche within the Security and Privacy practice managing risks related to data security, privacy, and Identity and access management implementations. He possesses various industry leading certifications including CISSP, CISA, CBCLA and PMP
 
Nithya Tanguturi is a Technology Audit Manager at a bay area based fintech company. She has more than 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT strategy and implementation, and technology risk and audit. Nithya has also worked at PwC within the CyberSecurity and Privacy practice performing various security implementations and risk assessments.
