Cooper has over five years of experience in IT audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404) compliance, information security consulting, and data inventory and privacy assessments. His experience includes SOX and JSOX ITGC internal audit and external audit services, with emphasis on financial institutions and manufacturing & distribution sectors. Cooper also conducts privacy reviews of Colorado businesses and cybersecurity risk assessments across a variety of industries. Cooper is a leader in the firm’s AI development and deployment, assisting in creating new services and leading the firms Microsoft 365 CoPilot roll out, assisting in creating agents and other ways to automate work for his clients. Cooper holds a Bachelor of Arts in accounting and information systems and a Master of Science in accounting and information systems, along with a minor in information technology, from Michigan State University. Cooper is an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
