Speaker Bio
Andy is a senior technology and cybersecurity architecture executive whose career has been shaped by building resilient businesses in complex, high‑risk environments. He began his career in cybersecurity, leading targeted penetration testing and breach and incident response engagements. Working directly with organizations during active security events gave him early, unfiltered insight into how businesses actually fail under pressure—and, more importantly, what allows them to continue operating. These experiences established a clear understanding of the most critical systems, processes, and decisions required to keep revenue flowing, customers served, and trust intact during disruption. This foundation continues to inform his pragmatic, business‑first approach to security, technology, and resilience.
Building on this grounding, he progressed into senior technology and architecture leadership roles, where he consistently delivered enterprise‑scale transformations. He led cloud migrations, operating‑model redesigns, and modernization efforts that improved development velocity, reduced costs, strengthened product security, and increased organizational resilience. His career spans hands‑on technical depth and executive‑level strategy, enabling him to translate risk and technology decisions into measurable business outcomes.
He has built and scaled modern engineering and delivery practices, including DevSecOps, Everything as Code, and agile operating models such as cross‑functional teams and SAFe. He has led large‑scale digital transformations that automated core business processes through technologies such as RPA, improving efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Across these initiatives, he focused on prioritizing the highest‑impact opportunities, defining clear execution paths, assembling and empowering teams, and establishing continuous improvement disciplines that supported growth and margin expansion.
His leadership integrates technology, cybersecurity, and change management to deliver holistic solutions across people, process, and technology. He is particularly effective during periods of disruption—whether driven by market shifts, acquisitions, security events, or operational stress—where success depends on clearly articulating strategy, building trust with stakeholders, using data to guide decisions, protecting the customer experience, and adapting execution as conditions evolve.
In parallel with his executive responsibilities, he is committed to continuous improvement and leadership development. He has coached and mentored individuals across career stages, including early‑career professionals, niche industry entrants, colleagues, founders and leaders in PE‑ and venture‑backed environments, and students. His mentoring emphasizes authenticity, clarity of strategy, capability building, and execution discipline.
