Shadow IT has been a long-preferred vector for cybercriminals to exploit. But Shadow IT no longer exists in traditional technology, especially with the rapid and widespread adoption of GenAI. Unsanctioned AI deployments within organizations, or Shadow AI, can be just as dangerous, if not more concerning, as any other IT.
