Tate is currently a Staff Product Security Engineer for Slack, but his 23 year career has covered everything from 3D rendering to enterprise architecture before becoming a security practitioner. With a focus on practical, scalable solutions, he believes that a comprehensive security program should partner with the business to enable it, rather than block it. He lives in Denver with his wife and two daughters.
