Daniel Pietragallo is a Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Financial Fraud Unit of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, where his primary responsibilities include working with the State Grand Jury to prosecute complex financial fraud cases and consulting on issues related to cybersecurity. Daniel serves as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Denver School of Law, where he teaches a class on Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, and Incident Response. He also sits on the steering committee for the Rocky Mountain Cyber Fraud Task Force, where he works with Federal partners, local law enforcement, academia, and private stakeholders to provide quarterly trainings. In addition, Daniel works with the Consumer Protection Section of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office on data breach investigations and other projects involving large technology companies. Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
