Mike Smith, FIP, CIPP/US, CIPT, CISSP, CCSK is a Distinguished Security Architect at Salesforce. In his role as a security, compliance, and data privacy professional, he has advised the world’s largest tech companies, financial institutions, healthcare organizations, manufacturers, and more on how they can safely store and process sensitive data in the cloud.

Since graduating with a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas Austin, Mike’s career has spanned enterprise software design, development, implementation, consulting, and Solution Engineering, eventually coming to specialize in security and data privacy.

He began dabbling in blockchain technology in 2017 and has yet to find the perfect use case.
