Computer crime has been commoditized to the extent of requiring little skill to execute vastly successful and damaging cyber attacks. We are witnessing an industrialization of cybercrime capabilities. These adversaries fuel a multi-billion dollar industry that is only estimated to grow exponentially in the coming years. We must examine their tactics, learn how to monitor their tradecraft, and use this to inform our defensive postures, as the economy of the criminal underworld ultimately affects each and every one of us.
