Dr. Samuel Gallaher is the Audit Analytics Supervisor and Methodologist for the Denver Auditor’s Office where he leads the Audit Analytics team. Together they run the continuous audit program, provide methods support, and give technical training to the office’s auditors. Through his work as an engineer, social scientist, and with the Auditor’s Office, he has over 15 years’ experience applying quantitative and qualitative research methods to make theoretical inquiry and solve real-world problems. Dr. Gallaher also served as part-time faculty at the University of Colorado Denver’s School of Public Affairs where he taught master’s level courses on Evidence-Based Decision Making, Research Methods and Statistics, and Policy Analysis. Dr. Gallaher has provided audit analytics trainings for PwC Middle East and presented on continuous auditing, analytics, and sampling for the Association of Local Government Auditors and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
