2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
A (slightly irreverent) look at the most important laws, cases, regulations, and legally relevant (or, in some cases, irrelevant) cybersecurity legal issues during the most recent year. This fast-paced, countdown-style presentation will offer a preview of what hot topics are likely to make the news this coming year, and how the law will affect a cybersecurity professional’s daily job.
After completing this session, the learner will: - Be informed about what happened this past year in cyberlaw - Gain an updated view of the world’s legal and regulatory response to cyber and privacy incidents - Understand what hot topics are likely to make the news this coming year, and what that means to a cybersecurity professional’s daily job
